Here are a few of my fave tips to stay on top of your game, every morning. Try them out and let me know if you notice a difference!
#1 Take care of your body. This should go without saying but a well fueled and well rested body can do wonders for your day to day productivity. Having a few healthy snacks on hands like nuts & fruit can also help keep the momentum going through until lunch.
#2 Start with the task you are dreading, or your creative work first. By getting your “dreaded” task checked off first thing your brain can properly focus. Your creativity is at a high in the morning, before too much of the day’s stress gets to you- so take advantage of that!
#3 Don’t multi-task. As a reformed super multi-tasker I used to find this one to be tough to swallow, until I read the research about how much it kills your productivity. I now reserve my multi-tasking for when I’m cooking and cleaning.
